The family members of Kashae Raia Watters found K_Raia Christian Foundation in June 2010. The foundation was started to “help those who need help”. Our mission is simple…we want to help any and everyone who needs help. This can be help in the form of financial, educational, personal, professional, and/or spiritual assistance.
The foundation currently runs four programs “K_Raia Bridge”, “Reaching Hands”, "C Your Degree", and "VA Connect". Through these programs the foundation provides education grants and academic counseling to college students in need of financial assistance and guidance with their college endeavors. Additionally, the foundation works with the homeless by providing hygiene assistance, clothing, food, and financial grants. and last, the foundation works with veterans to help them process their disability claim so they can receive the benefits they earned while serving their country.
